Glenn Ackerman is the Head of Tax and Managing Director of Jasper Ridge Partners, in which capacity he oversees both tax compliance and tax planning activities for the firm. Prior to joining Jasper Ridge Partners in 2012, Glenn spent 13 years with Deloitte Tax working primarily in their New York Financial Services Tax practice. During this time he served a broad range of private equity, hedge fund, and other asset management clients. Prior to joining the Financial Services Tax practice, Glenn worked in Deloitte’s Washington National Tax Group. Glenn earned a B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of Richmond, a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and an LLM in Tax from the Georgetown University Law Center.
